SLO Badge Installation
Grille Mount
MOUNTING YOUR FRONT BADGE
The smaller badge in your kit goes on the grille.

Slide the bolts through the plastic grille mount so that the bolt heads sit in the recesses of the mount. Screw the toggle anchors onto the ends of the bolts.
Insert the anchors through the grille in the proper position. Factory location for STi grille badges is on the driver's side in the lower half of the grille.
Pull the mount outwards so the anchors put tension on the back of the grille and tighten the bolts until the plastic mount sits snug against the grille. Do not overtighten the toggle bolts; the mount and/or your grille could get damaged. Version 5 mounts include two zip-ties for attaching the mount to a cross-member of the grille (useful for grilles with large openings). See the video below for an overview of using zip-ties with the Version 5 mount.
Use one piece of the included double-sided tape to secure the smaller SLO badge to the front mount.

Big thanks to Sean Perry for the idea of using toggle bolts/anchors. Every order from July 21st, 2022 and on will include the toggle bolts/anchors.

Also thanks to Joshua Gray for helping develop the Version 5 mount for his Impreza RS. All orders after May 6, 2024 will include the Version 5 mount with both toggle bolts and zip-ties for a variety of mounting options.

Rear Mount
MOUNTING YOUR REAR BADGE
The larger badge in your kit goes on the rear.
​
For that factory/oem look, mount the badge on the passenger side of the trunk or hatch lid, centered between the license plate cutout and the far right edge, and aligned with the bottom of the license plate cutout.
​
It is highly suggested to use painters' tape or some other guide for aligning the badge before adhering it to the car with two pieces of the double-sided tape (included with your kit.)
